316L Stainless Steel is a premium grade of stainless steel known for its durability, corrosion resistance, and hypoallergenic properties. This metal is particularly favoured for jewellery due to its ability to withstand daily wear without tarnishing or rusting. Its strength ensures that pieces remain intact and maintain their appearance over time.

 

For gold plated stainless steel jewellery we use:

 

• three-layers of 18K gold plating

• stainless titanium steel

• cubic zirconia crystals

Stainless Steel has a naturally high resistance to tarnishing and rusting.
For this reason, we use this material most in our products.

These products are water resistant, but as with any jewellery, it is best to avoid contact with chemicals to maintain their shine.

Tips for longer lasting jewellery:

Jewellery will eventually tarnish over time when involving metal that is gold plated & silver plated.

Avoiding contact with the following can slow the tarnishing time & keep your Luna Éclat Jewellery looking new; 

• Keep away from soaps, perfumes, and chemicals. 

• Clean with a soft cloth. 

• Store in a dry place. 

• Take it off while sleeping, taking a shower, in the pool and in the sea.

• Always remember that your jewellery should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off when dressing.
